Enter Projected Values — a faster way to log check-ins

The check-in form already supports this. It's a small checkbox on the second row of the Add form. When it's on, you type the balance you see on the casino site and the app calculates the change for you.

Why you want this: you're already looking at the casino screen and reading a number. Typing that number directly is faster than subtracting it from the previous balance in your head.

Normal entry vs. Projected Values entry

Same form. The only difference is which row you type into. Checkbox is on the bottom row, right below the Type dropdown.

Normal entry Current habit
Current: Unplayed 700.00 · Played 542.50
Projected Unplayed
Projected Played
You look at the casino: Unplayed is 950.00. You do the math: 950 − 700 = 250. You type 250 in the Unplayed box. Try changing the Unplayed or Played fields above — the projected boxes update to match.
Projected Values entry Faster
Current: Unplayed 700.00 · Played 542.50
Projected Unplayed
Projected Played
You look at the casino: Unplayed is 950.00. You type 950.00 in Projected Unplayed. The Unplayed column fills itself in with 250. Same for Played.

Why it's worth switching

How to turn it on

  1. Open a customer and a casino on the dashboard like you already do.
  2. In the Add form, look at the second row and tick the small checkbox labeled Enter Projected Values.
  3. Type the Projected Unplayed and Projected Played numbers you see on the casino site.
  4. Click Add (or Add & Next).

After saving, the form resets the same way it always does, ready for the next check-in. You can leave projected mode on between entries or turn it off — whichever you prefer.

Open Casinobalances and try it on your next check-in.
